Son temple fut \u00e9rig\u00e9 \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 du V si\u00e8cle a.C. et se d\u00e9finit un p\u00e9ript\u00e8re, soit un \u00e9difice entour\u00e9 de colonnes. Il fait partie des temples les mieux conserv\u00e9s de l\u2019antiquit\u00e9, mais \u00e0 le rendre exceptionnel, c\u2019est le fait d\u2019\u00eatre le seul \u00e0 structure ouverte. Cent m\u00e8tres plus haut, sur l\u2019acropole Nord du Mont Barbaro, se trouve le th\u00e9\u00e2tre datant de la moiti\u00e9 du III si\u00e8cle a.C. L\u2019auditorium avec ses si\u00e8ges creus\u00e9s dans la roche, offre une vue \u00e9poustouflante qui s\u2019\u00e9tend sur toute la vall\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la mer, au plus grand plaisir des spectateurs qui assistent encore aujourd\u2019hui aux repr\u00e9sentations de com\u00e9dies et de trag\u00e9dies classiques en costumes. Eparpill\u00e9s sur les pentes du Mont Barbaro demeurent les ruines d\u2019une \u00e9glise, d\u2019une mosqu\u00e9e, d\u2019un ch\u00e2teau du 12\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, d\u2019anciennes fortifications et de nombreuses habitations, s\u00e9diments d\u2019une histoire sans fin.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Les petits conseils de Nathalie<\/strong><\/span>: Prenez le temps de profiter de la vue sublime depuis le th\u00e9\u00e2tre en vous y attardant avec un bon livre, en levant les yeux de temps \u00e0 autre, tel un spectateur antique assis \u00e0 la m\u00eame place il y a 2400 ans ! Ne manquez pas les repr\u00e9sentations classiques de S\u00e9geste qui ont lieu en \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019heure du coucher du soleil, une exp\u00e9rience inoubliable ! Si vous montez au th\u00e9\u00e2tre avec la navette, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez redescendre \u00e0 pied, le spectacle en vaut la peine. Il n\u2019y a pas de doute sur le fait quel les anciens savaient choisir les lieux o\u00f9 \u00e9difier leurs villes !
